(actually I didn't plan to enter but that extra day before the deadline well...convinced me to finish this piece. I worked hard on this especially on the perspective.)

While Becca was showing Lurani and Mascara, Diego prepared the sled team. Every dog was groomed and ready to show off his/ her potential. Diego believed in this relatevely young team. Some assistants he hired some times ago were helping him with the harnesses...And Gazer. The lead dog was really excited.
"Calm down boy" he though " you better give your best when you will be on the track"
Luckily Celeste didn't seem impressed but he knew that she was very concentrated. She never barked at the starting line like all the others but at the "go" she ran at full speed maintaining the same steady pace. It was simply her and that was why she was the lead dog: calm, focused, smart and fast. Gazer was the opposite, surely he was fast and powerful but he was stubborn. Diego had to train him more than the other dogs but the result was noticeable moreover he had a strong influence on the team. Nobody could give up if he was at the lead xD
His strong character was also one of the reason why Saimak didn't really loved him...Besides the fact he was a latin lover and tried to steal the girls from the boss (Saimak)
Overall Gazer and Celeste at the lead were an explosive pair.
The swing dogs were Lurani and Gemma and the wheel Lola and Mascara. Maybe not the strongest team in terms of phisical strenght but surely one of the faster. Diego firmly believed in that strategy after all it was only a two hours race. The dogs were used to it and there was an advantage: The forest trait. The sand could be a difficult terrain but in the forest it was a completely different matter. Diego used to train his dogs in the forests in Italy and knew very well how fast the dogs could run there.
